Overview :

Builds visual merchandising skill and capability at the store leadership and District Manager level to deliver a consistent, branded experience within their respective territory. Provides a top store strategy, setting the pace for elevated visual merchandising execution within their territory while consistently delivering our brand promise. Partnership with the corporate office and territory DM to focus time on the most critical and highly visible store within their market and works collaboratively with store leadership teams to guide and execute elevated presentation strategies within their assigned territory. Leverages the ability to effectively gain consensus and alignment with stakeholders by building relationships and collaborating with key business partners to impact overall business results and the in-store experience.


Responsibilities :

Builds Talent

  • Builds store leadership team’s visual merchandising skill and capability by leading floorset planning, execution, and sustainment, distortion of time in critical stores
  • Conducts effective store visits and facilitate hands-on training workshops
  • Partners with District Manager and store leadership teams to influence merchandising, interpretation, and creativity while adhering to the current brand standards. Guides floorset sustainment and sell down decision making
  • Builds bench strength through emerging talent development and external networking

Builds the Brand

  • Builds accountability with store leadership teams to understand and leverage visual merchandising to maximize overall business results, impact conversion, and customer experience
  • Communicates seasonal strategy to field leadership; ability to influence decision making
  • Leads critical floorsets with key business partners; provide time-sensitive feedback, insights, and solutions
  • Tracks visual merchandising ideas to elevate the in-store environment through evolved merchandising techniques. Monitors success through both quantitative and qualitative learning insights, including photo recap
  • Sets heightened expectations relating to all aspects of visual merchandising, including brand standards
  • Seeks out and shares competitive insights; builds ongoing knowledge of current industry trends to remain relevant

Builds Capabilities

  • Identifies store specific opportunities to use visual merchandising lever to drive results.
  • Partners with District Manager and store leadership team to develop time-sensitive actions plans that will improve business.
  • Understands how to read and analyze business results and apply learnings to assigned territiory, linking Visual Merchandising to overall business results and customer experience.
  • Works collaboratively as part of the visual merchandising organization; provide feedback and insight on current and future floorsets, merchandising strategies, and brand guide tools.
  • Coaches to improve merchandise flow standards and how they affect floorset execution, replenishment and recovery, and customer experience.

Qualifications :
  • Excellent visual and merchandising skills with ability to interpret brand direction and support high volume, multi-level stores.
  • Proven ability to facilitate visual presentation training and to work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely, exceptional organization and communication skills, solution oriented.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and personalities efficiently and effectively and demonstrate the ability to influence.
  • Consistently pursues specific opportunities to drive business results.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Detail oriented, excellent time management with strong sense of urgency.
  • Working knowledge of hardware, hanging systems, lighting props, mannequins and forms.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom) and Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Travel required. Approximately 100% store travel per week.
  • Occasional weekends are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Lift 50 lbs.
  • Scale ladders.
  • Accustom to heights.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years in visual merchandising, preferably with a leading fashion specialty retailer or brand in a multi-store capacity.
  • Experience in a creative industry with a well-developed sense of fashion and trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Salary Range : USD $75,000.00/Yr. - USD $90,000.00/Yr.
