Overview :
Manages HR programs including recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and recognition programs. Supports HR decision making by providing organizational analysis and HR analytics. Provides counsel on matters pertaining to performance management and associate relations.
Responsibilities :
- Manages on-boarding activities to ensure that new associates are provided with the knowledge and resources to quickly acclimate and begin contributing.
- Conducts ad hoc organizational analyses, compiles and analyzes Associate Relations metrics and other HR analytics for management review and decision making.
- Develops and manages recognition programs and events etc.
- Supports the annual performance management and talent assessment process, developing communication and compiling and tracking information.
- Provides advice and counsel on performance management and policy interpretation for the Tilton Distribution Center and Contact Center.
- Performs confidential administrative functions.
- Schedules travel, review, and submit expense reports.
- Coordinate daily calendars, scheduling appointments and organizing meetings.
- Tracks organizational changes and maintains organizational charts.
- Develops and updates HR policies and procedures and assists in preparing materials for meetings and projects.
- Develops employee communication and manages information flow.
- Manages unemployment claims processing for Tilton Distribution Center and Contact Center.
- Manages special projects as needed.
- Provide Outlook calendar support to VP of Distribution as needed.
Key Relationships:
- Interacts with potential J.Jill Applicants
- Interacts with all levels of management daily providing interpretation, counsel, direction and approval of employment actions, policy administration, compliance issues, etc.
- Collaborates with HRBPS, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, HRIS, and Benefits.
Qualifications :
- Must have an approachable and engaging style and strong listening skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing projects and demands.
- Ability to work independently, plan effectively and produce results.
- Advanced ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- WorkDay Experience
- Proven abilities in the areas of associate relations and HR program development and management.
- Great Learner, poised, analytical, tenacious, flexible, and adaptable.
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work, prolonged periods of time working at a desk and on a computer.
- Ability to communicate information and observe details at close range.
- Light lifting may be required
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 4+ years of Human Resource experience, preferably in a Distribution or Customer Contact Center
