Overview :
As a key member of the J.Jill E-Commerce team, you will have the opportunity to lead and execute our E-Commerce strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class omnichannel shopping experience. You’ll leverage deep domain knowledge and a growth mindset to promote innovation and enhance business performance.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborates with E-Commerce team members to establish the overall vision for J.Jill.com. Translates that vision into a roadmap aligned to J.Jill’s financial, brand and customer goals.
- Builds and presents business cases for new or emerging opportunities. Partners closely with the Ecommerce Analytics team to define success criteria, KPIs, and A/B test approach.
- Serves as customer advocate and digital product champion across the organization, regularly communicating strategy, plans, and insights.
- Owns E-Commerce development projects from concept to launch including strategy, requirements, design, testing, communication, and measurement. Is the primary point of contact for portfolio of programs, collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners to ensure proper alignment and support.
- Develops user stories and represents business priorities during grooming sessions and sprint planning.
- Maintains backlog of enhancements by applying analytics, user feedback, and intuition to prioritize highest impact initiatives.
- Assesses the competition and stays informed about market trends and new solutions providers to make informed strategy recommendations.
- Manages relationships with external vendors and technology partners.
Qualifications :
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in an omni-channel retail environment.
- Proven success in developing E-Commerce experiences across device types including desktop, mobile, tablet.
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical acumen, with ability to research complex problems and troubleshoot solutions.
- Natural curiosity and a positive “can do” attitude, in constant pursuit of innovative ways to improve the customer experience and drive business results.
- Collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments. Adept at communicating a vision or plan and gaining alignment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Experience
- B.S. in Marketing, Business, or Information Systems
- 6+ years of eCommerce product management experience, ideally in an omni-channel retail environment
- 2+ years participating in Agile team management and sprint execution
- Expertise using JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms. HCL Commerce (IBM Websphere) a plus.
- Experience with Analytics, Voice of Customer and A/B Testing platforms (Monetate a plus)
