Overview :

The Financial Analyst is responsible for performing various financial activities including budgeting, modeling, forecasting, and reporting to support decision making by senior management. You will own complex processes and contribute positively to the team environment in Finance. This role will support the Ecommerce/OMNI fulfillment operations with future opportunities to learn and support other areas of the business.


Responsibilities :
  • Create Supply Chain financial reporting to understand variances vs. budgets, forecasts and historical performance
  • Provides recurring and ad hoc reporting to support the omnichannel business
  • Develops, updates and monitors key performance indicators and dashboards, highlighting trends and analyzing variances, to understand and communicate results
  • Perform deeper analyses on notable variances of monthly performance vs. forecast or prior year
  • Applies strategic thinking to improve the effectiveness of financial planning activities
  • Supports the development and preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts
  • Works directly with accounting team during month end close to understand results

Qualifications :
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to synthesize large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers; use results to create insightful analyses and translate data and trends into clearly understandable messaging
  • Strong attention to detail with a high focus on accuracy and data integrity
  • Advanced Excel skills, with financial modeling experience
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines
  • Creative thinker who can bring innovative ideas and approaches to solve issues
  • Ability to build partnerships, influence decisions, work in a collaborative style

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required 
  • 0-2+ years of applicable experience
  • Experience with General Ledger and Financial Reporting systems
