Responsibilities :

Manager, Ecommerce Development in Quincy MA. Technical lead for development of web-facing applications for E-Commerce site built on IBM WebSphere Commerce-on-Cloud platform, including: design/develop software/software enhancements; research/coordinate conversion/integration of software; evaluate application software packages/testing tools; document business requirements; provide technical leadership to software developers; ensure source code stability, code reviews, and administration of source control; design/implement/test web service applications leveraging WCS subsystems; troubleshoot technical issues and take action to remediate issues; resolve application integration issues; develop documentation, diagrams, & code comments. Reqs: Master’s in Comp Sci or equiv; 8 yrs exp in Enterprise eCommerce platforms and tools (including IBM WebSphere Commerce products/ATG/Hybris/Demandware) and 5 yrs software development exp. (exp. can be gained concurrently); knowledge of: Spring framework; utilizing or administering IBM DB2; source control administration such as GIT/Bitbucket, UrbanCode Deploy, SVN, CVS, Rational Team Concert, ClearCase and JIRA; Eclipse-based workbench or IBM Rational Application Developer; web performance tuning and maintenance techniques; utilizing/administering application and web tier systems (e.g. WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server); web services such as XML/SOAP/REST; React.js for building user interfaces; cloud-based system architecture design; Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Java/J2EE based customer facing applications; industry standards including W3C; Web Services, J2EE; a payment integration such as Chase, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal.
